Dr. Raj is a retired cardiology specialist with over 60 years experience in the medical field. He received his Fellowship training in Cardiology at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University, Boston, Massachusetts. He is author of another book “A Practical Approach to EKG Interpretation”. He is the inventor of “Thermo-electric Angioplasty Catheter”, US patent number: 4,860,744 granted on August 29, 1989. He served for 41 years at the Univ. of Massachusetts Medical School and retired as Associate Professor/ Emeritus Educator, Cardiovascular Medicine. He also served as Director, Coronary Care Unit; Director Non-invasive Cardiovascular Laboratories, and Director, Cardiovascular Research Laboratory.
It is to honor the Loving Memories of his wife that he has written a book titled “HEALTHY DIET AND MINDFULNESS TO Prevent CORONARY HEART DISEASE” and all proceeds from the book would be donated to Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts. She played a significant role to inspire him in writing all of his books.
